description: This design lends itself to numerous applications even though it was created to meet specific needs, as the designers explain: “The track that can be accessorised that constitutes the basic element of Profilo smart was originally designed for fitting out bathrooms for disabled people. It is made from aluminium extrusions that are extra-thick and therefore very strong, fixed to the wall with systems that vary depending on the kind of wall. All this then provides the possibility of creating environments, in hotel rooms or bathrooms, where accessories can be easily inserted when required”. The design of the track and the add-on accessories then gave rise to a desire on the part of the designers to apply the product to other situations (spas, health farms, corridors in clinics or hotels etc) and as a support for signage and lighting, also outdoors.
