description: Skema is a modular fireplace made completely from steel, conceived as part of a system of functional elements that can be extended as required and that are based on a minimum size that is that of the fireplace opening. The design is conceived as a series of units that can be arranged either horizontally or vertically; the various functions are fragmented and made independent: braziers, firewood storage and open-fronted units can be combined as desired, with interchangeable solutions offered to create a vertical fireplace or a horizontal one, developed on the left or right or central, with firewood compartments and open units on both sides. The combustion chamber, completely in steel, has a glass ceramic enclosure that acts as a fireguard and reduces the consumption of wood or pellets always ensuring a live flame. The fireplace can be installed with the Convettivo system with heat pump to transfer heat to other rooms, or Radiante, clad in ceramic material with slow releasing heat accumulator (up to eight hours after the fire has gone out). The finish (Cor-Ten or black lacquer) is one of the strong features of the design.
