description: Created almost entirely from recycled stone, Lithoverde is made of waste material recovered during the traditional production processes of stone cutting and working. It can be modeled according to patterns chosen directly by the designers who use it, and is one of the most innovative products in the stone material sector of the market. Lithoverde helps designers to acquire LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) credits and contributes to sustainable design through the numerous applications in both the commercial and residential fields. The product is made up of 99% waste sheets – which generally require large amounts of energy and money to dispose of – and just 1% natural resin, which acts as a glue allowing greater solidity. A precise selection process is combined with the development of a material design that uses plastic modeling and surface texture treatments to protect the uppermost layers of the stone material that come into contact with the environment.
