Cleer, a furnishing collection designed by Diego Grandi, takes its inspiration from a term which in Milanese slang means ‘saracinesca’, shutter. With an unusual effect of estrangement, the new Azzurra furniture recalls this element of the urban landscape by introducing a technical component into the bathroom.
Cleer is a freestanding cabinet with rounded shapes in which a theory of vertical staves in coloured aluminium outlines the profile of the furniture, restoring rhythm and lightness. Contained between two shelves, the central shutter also evokes the spontaneous gesture of opening: the slats slide horizontally, allowing easy access to the storage compartment. Four painted metal elements complete Cleer, emphasising the central volume and its design.
