23 architecture and design magazines discuss sustainability at the Press Cafés
Press Cafés, a place for conversations on design and architecture
The seventh edition of the Press Cafés will consist of 23 meetings, the largest number ever. Organised in partnership with leading publishing houses, the events will host discussions between industry experts and journalists on topical aspects of design, architecture, wellness and urban planning relating to ceramic tiles and bathroom furnishings. The common theme linking all the meetings will be sustainability in its various forms.
The Press Cafés will consist of 45-minute-long informal conversations between magazine editors and leading figures from the worlds of architecture and design. The conversations will touch on various themes with special attention to sustainability: from new building design with a focus on energy saving and innovation to outdoor materials and projects, creative design, bathroom furnishings, wellness and urban regeneration.
One of the new aspects of this year’s Press Cafés is the fact that they will also be held in a virtual format on the Cersaie Digital platform in the week leading up to the exhibition, from 19 to 23 September. The talks held as in-person events during the exhibition itself will also be livestreamed on Cersaie Digital.
The magazines taking part in this seventh edition of the Press Cafés are: Abitare, AD Architectural Digest, Around Water, Chiesa Oggi, DDN, Domus, Elle Decor Italia, IFDM, Il Bagno Oggi e Domani, Il Giornale dell’Architettura.com, Ingenio, Interni, l’Arca International, La Repubblica Design, NiiProgetti, Novità PR Communication, Platform, Quotidiano Nazionale, Suite, The Plan, Tile Brasil, Ville&Casali and VilleGiardini.
