Biographical notes
Diego Grandi lives and works in Milan, where in 2002 establishes the DGO_Diego Grandi Office, a planning firm dealing with product, interior and design consultancy.
His concern on the visual and exterior side of design leads to a research on the epidermal qualities of the materials and on the possible genre implementations and contaminations.
The research on the new codes of living, focused on observing the everyday habits and behaviours, leads his attitude on the surface and on the deep quality of two-dimensional projects.
Among the firms for which he has designed and with which collaborates, we have Abet Laminati, Casamania, DuPont, Ferrino, Guzzini, Lea Ceramiche and Skitsch.
His projects have been selected for events, awards and international exhibitions, such as the Design Museum “Quali cose siamo” at La Triennale in Milan, the Good Design Award of the Chicago Athenaeum and the ADI Design Index.

Biographical notes
Luca Nichetto was born in 1976 in Venice, where he studied at the Art Institute. Afterwards he attended the University Institute of Architecture of Venice (IUAV), where he earned a degree in Industrial Design.
He began his professional career in 1999 by designing his first projects in Murano glass for Salviati. That same year he began his collaboration with Foscarini, for whom he not only designed products, but also worked as a consultant on new materials research and product development (2001–2003). In 2006 he launched his own design firm, Nichetto&Partners, which specializes in industrial design and offers its services as a design consultancy. In 2011 he also opened another professional office in Stockholm,Sweden.
Over the course of his career, Nichetto has been awarded a number of international prizes, including the Gran Design Award (2008), the Chicago Atheneum Museum of Architecture’s Good Design Award (2008), the IF Product Design Award (2008) and the Elle Decoration International Design Awards’ (EDIDA) Designer of the Year award in the Young Designer Talent category (2009).
Apart from participating in various design exhibitions in Europe, the U.S and Japan, Nichetto has also been the subject of important retrospective shows mounted in prominent European cities, including Venice, London, Paris and Stockholm, and he has served as art director for a number of international design events. In addition, he has been invited to sit on prestigious juries for a variety of design competitions held both in Italy and abroad
Today, Nichetto collaborates with a wide variety of Italian and international companies, including Bosa, Casamania, Ceramiche Refin, Emmegi, Established & Sons, Fornasarig, Foscarini, Fratelli Guzzini, Gallotti & Radice, Italesse, King’s, Kristalia, Mabeo, Moroso, Offecct, Ogeborg, Salviati, Skitsch, Skultuna,Tacchini and Venini.

Biographical notes
Matteo Ragni, graduated in Architecture at Politecnico di Milano. In 2001, together with Giulio Iacchetti, won the Compasso d’Oro Award with the multiuse biodegradable sporck “Moscardino” produced by Pandora Design, now part of the permanent design collection at the MOMA in New York City. In 2008 won the Wallpaper Design Award’08 with the table lamp/book end LETI, produced by Danese. Also in 2008 he created TobeUs, a brand for wooden car toys handcrafted in Italy. Besides his design practice he teaches in international universities, he’s art-director and architect. Recently was edited the book “Camparisoda. L'aperitivo dell'arte veloce futurista. Da Fortunato Depero a Matteo Ragni”, published by Corraini Editorial, to celebrate 100 years of Futurism.

Biographical notes
Franco Origoni, architect, works with Anna Steiner at the practice “Franco Origoni e Anna Steiner architetti associati”, in the field of graphic design, publishing and showroom design.
He has curated numerous exhibitions on the history of Italian graphic design, including: “50 anni di grafica italiana, Antonio Boggeri, Giovanni Mardersteig, Albe Steiner”.
He has curated various monographs of Italian and international architects, including Bottoni, Albini and Piano, as well as exhibitions at the Triennale in Milan such as “La rappresentazione della pena” and “La città infinita”.
Responsible for the Design Collection at the XVI Triennale, he has been a member of the Board of Centro Studi Grafici and a jury member for the Felice Feliciano Award on book quality.
Author of articles, essays and books, he has worked with the cultural supplement to the daily economic newspaper Il Sole 24 ore.
He is a member of the Italian Association for Industrial Design ADI.
He cooperates with numerous companies on showroom design including Alcoa, Alfa Romeo, Ansaldo, Fiat, Fiorentini, Pininfarina, Rinascente, Snam, Schlumberger, Serapian and Caimi Brevetti.
He has designed the signage for national facilities of INPS (Italian National Social Insurance Institute), and in 1989 and 1990 created the two- and three-dimensional coordinated image for Sogemi for the new Pero-Rho exhibition centre.
In 1993 he curated the exhibition “X anni di caos” together with Franco Moschino.
He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Design and Furniture gallery in Cantù and curator of the publication and travelling exhibition on the history of the Compasso d’Oro ADI (56 cities worldwide since 1997). He also curated the exhibitions for the 18th, 19th and 20th editions of the Compasso d’Oro ADI at the Triennale in Milan.
He is the curator of numerous exhibitions on Italian design and products both in Italy and abroad.
He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Renzo Piano Building Workshop foundation.
