Andrea Serri
Biographical notes
Andrea Serri is Head of Communications for Confindustria Ceramica and Cersaie, as well as Coordinator of the Association’s Communication and Promotion Department.
He graduated with honours in international marketing from the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Modena and has worked as a journalist since September 1991.
He is editor of Cer il giornale della Ceramica, Cer Magazine Italia and Cer Magazine International, and in the past has contributed to several economics and trade magazines. He has written the book Roma - Sassuolo: biglietto di sola andata. Piccola storia dell’industria italiana delle piastrelle [Rome – Sassuolo: one-way ticket. Short history of the Italian tile industry], the Ceramica Amica consumer guide, and a chapter in the book San Faustino. La chiesa del Concilio.
His work in collaboration with the Confindustria Ceramica Research Department has included the production of various Intelligent Marketing tools such as the Bussole Mercati [Market Guides].

Claudio Santini

Biographical notes
Claudio Santini began his career as a journalist in the late 1950s working for the Italian daily newspaper Il Resto del Carlino, initially in the branch editorial office in Ravenna then as a news reporter in Bologna, and finally as a correspondent. A specialist in legal affairs, he reported on many of the most dramatic trials of the past thirty years and provided expert reporting and analysis on the phenomenon of terrorism in Italy. He now contributes as a freelancer to publications on communication, law and history.
One of the founders of the School of Journalism at the University of Bologna, he teaches ethics and coordinates training courses for professional licensing examinations.
He has been on several editorial committees and has served as chairman of the Emilia-Romagna Association of Journalists from 1995 to 2004, as a member of the national board from 2004 to 2010, and as a member of the executive board and Cultural Committee. He is currently chairman of the Emilia-Romagna Regional disciplinary board and professor of ethics on the master’s course in journalism at the University of Bologna.
